IFSEC 2016: Milestone High Energy

London hosted myself as well as my industry colleagues this past week for the annual IFSEC security trade show, which we started with a Milestone media event. Top managers highlighted Milestone’s number one global position in the video management software (VMS) market, our performance leadership and our busy open platform communityIFSEC.

We were also able to announce two strategic partnerships: Dell OEM and Nedap. Our partnership with Dell OEM Solutions brings high-performance server solutions to the EMEA market, while our partnership announcement with Nedap describes the commitment to an integration between Milestone XProtect VMS and AEOS Access Control from Nedap, as well as a close cooperation in our mutual target markets.

IMG_1818Our booth did a nice job of harmonizing safe cities and smart buildings as an overall theme, while spotlighting Milestone partner community solutions and high performance systems. We had several demo pods within our booth demonstrating both the Dell OEM offer and the Milestone Husky M500A NVR.

The energy in the hall was palpable. Even when we were 14 minutes away from closing down the trade show, our community of partners and customers were still gathered in our booth discussing current projects, different opportunities and market needs. Nobody was ready to head home yet… The future is open – and too exciting to walk away from!
